A lineman quilt for my hardworking cousin in Kentucky. So grateful to the men and women who keep our electricity running no matter the weather conditions.
This is a Christmas “summer in the park” quilt using a fabric line called Merry and Bright. It’s so vibrant and jolly. I quilted it using an edge-to-edge poinsettia design with a bright red thread.
I love this quilt it looks almost like stained glass in the light. The fabric is summer breeze and the pattern is a disappearing hourglass. I quilted it in all over feathers with white cotton thread. I love that I finally got to finish another UFO (unfinished object).

Another lineman quilt this time with a pop of green. I’ll be adding this one to my etsy store soon. A great gift for the lineman in your family.

I am originally from Kentucky and of course we love our derby. This fabric line is derby days and the pinks, blues, and greens are so beautiful. I’ve used my new Amara to do a free motion wave design for the quilting.
One of the best things about owning my own longarm machine is getting to finish all of the UFO’s in my stash. This is a Hunter’s star quilt made with a fabric line called Blue belle.
This is a fence rail quilt made with a muted patriotic line of fabric that I can’t remember the name of because it sat in my “stash” for so very long. I’m still on the fence about this one but my hubby loves it.
My first Hunter’s star. This one was made for my father who picked out the fabric for the quilt while we were on an amazing side trip to Hamilton Missouri. We were on a visit to Iowa to my sis and I mentioned that the “quilting capital of the world” was just five hours away. He insisted on going. It added an extra day to the trip but ohhhhh I love Hamilton, even if my wallet did not. I quilted it in the hoop on my embroidery machine as I didn’t have the long arm at the time. It took forever but it really is something that I love the look of and I’m super proud of it.

Needle and thread and all things red… or blue… or any color that goes well with quilting! I am a self taught Quilter that loves her long arm quilter and loves to create beautiful things. While taking a break in between quilts I also love to create wreaths, the more personality the better.
